Klatt Employment Service, Inc. fulfills all the legal obligations and
requirements of the Department of Labor for your protection. We cut the
paycheck, file the Federal and State taxes, match the Social Security and
Medicare deductions and pay the unemployment percentage and Workmen's
Compensation percentage on each dollar paid out. All these obligations are met on
a rigorous time table which we strictly adhere to. Workmen's Comp is
audited twice a year by an independent service and paid on a monthly basis. A
Commercial General Liability policy is also in place and a certificate is
available upon request, along with the Hold Harmless Policy and certification as a
minority/woman owned business with the City of Chicago, State of Illinois and the
County of Cook.
Posted on every time sheet is our policy stating that Klatt Temporary Services
has incurred expenses in recruiting and training its employees to best serve the
clients. If a client chooses to transfer any Klatt employee to the client's payroll
or to the payroll of another staffing service during an assignment of 90 days
thereafter, the client will pay 125 times the Klatt hourly billing rate as liquidated
damages.
