Find opportunities to accelerate your career

We are pleased to have you on our team. The information included in this section will acquaint you with our procedures for working as a temporary employee, what we expect of you, and what you can expect of us.

Please call us with any questions or concerns. We are always happy to hear from you.

Employment Information

Klatt Temporary Service is your employer. We are responsible for your pay, withholding taxes, and raises. You will receive one W-2 at the end of the year from us, regardless of how many temporary assignments you may work during that time.

If you are applying for full time work, please use Klatt Temporary Service as your reference. Klatt has all of your payroll information, allowing us to verify employment information and job performance with potential future employers.

Permanent Work Information

We understand that many of our employees' goals are to secure full time employment. There are several steps that can make this a more successful process.

  • If possible, schedule interviews during lunch hours or before/after office hours. This enables you to accept temporary assignments while working on your goal of full time employment.
  • If you do secure full time employment, please provide us as much notice as possible. New employers will appreciate your commitment.
  • We will provide a good reference for the quality work and good attitude you exhibit on temporary jobs.
  • Please notify us if you are offered employment from any firm or individual to whom you have been assigned to work as an employee of Klatt Temporary Service within a time period of 90 days from the date of completion of that assignment.

Qualities of Success

Attitude

We realize that going to new companies, meeting different people, and learning new jobs can be challenging. That is why a good attitude can create such a positive relationship between you, Klatt Temporary Service, and our clients.

Dependability

Making a good first impression by being punctual can make your entire experience more positive. Temporary employees who are continuously punctual are asked back again and again.

Professionalism

Dressing for success, limiting personal calls and displaying a professional, helpful demeanor impresses anyone you may meet on a job.

Productivity

Employees who are efficient and productive are often asked back on new assignments within the same company. You can almost always avoid mistakes by asking questions first. Most clients view questions as interest and concern about the work you are doing.

Assignment Information

When we call you with a possible temporary assignment you will be given the approximate job description, length of service, pay rate and location. At that time, please decide if all the criteria fits your needs. We only want you to accept what is right for you. Your job satisfaction is a top priority.

If you choose to accept an assignment, we expect you to be available for the length of time you have committed. However, clients often will extend assignments beyond their original length of time. If this should happen, please let us know if you will be able to continue the assignment. If you are unavailable to continue the assignment and we have advanced notice, we may be able to put another qualified temporary in your place, which increases the number of potential jobs for everyone.

Always notify us when your assignment is ending so that we can find you additional work.

If you would like us to mail your check, we must receive your time sheet first. Please scan & email your time sheet to info@klattemployment.com on Friday.
